As all of our hotels hold a Civil Wedding Licence, we welcome Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships along with Wedding Receptions at our hotels.

The Yorkshire Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. Retaining much of the original Victorian elegance with modern and stylish furnishings, Rooftops on the 5th floor commands wonderful views over Harrogage. Your wedding will be the only wedding taking place at the hotel and to make your day truly special, our personal service extends to include a civil wedding licence.

For nearly 30 years we have catered for many different-sized wedding parties from marquees of 150 guests to more intimate blessings or second marriages with as few as 10 guests.

Hob Green and its grounds set an ideal environment to celebrate that most special of occasions.

Over recent years the laws binding wedding ceremonies to be held in a place of worship or registry office have been relaxed so that houses like Hob Green can apply for a licence to hold your ceremony at the same venue as your reception.

We are privileged to be able to offer you the opportunity to hold your wedding reception and civil marriage ceremony at The Red Lion. Our 16th C country inn is idyllically situated on the banks of the River Wharfe, in picturesque burnsall, which still retains the atmosphere of the quintessential English village. Imagine exchanging your vows in this fine setting, either in the terrace, garden or riverside rooms which can accommodate 10 – 120 guests any day of the week.  Toast your new life with family and friends on our lawns and terraces which run down to and border the river – forming the perfect backdrop for wedding photography. We can help organise your complete wedding. We offer as an option Cake, Flower and Photography. Should you decide on a mid week wedding then the wedding package is offered at a substantial discount.
